RE: Regarding the war and NPCs
Curiosity killed the cat.
How do the Harts have such a large number of forces after getting depleted by the Legion war? Not sure if the message still pops up, but everytime you enter evening star it does give a message supporting the general idea that they have a signicantly small number of forces..

RE: KDR's 3 step guide to plotting
@Khamal:
You make no sense at all.
Moral of the story is that had I sent a message to the DM during tht event, and still managed to kill Kresswell, he woulda been dead long ago.

RE: KDR's 3 step guide to plotting
Thus why Dav is in the fugue, but it was the most fun I ever did have on that char. The actual sight of Kresswell dead, I felt accomplished. On that note- if your ever going to attack an NPC, send a quick message to the DM channel before you do it. Some DMs enjoy rolling with the punches, some appreciate a heads up, so just do it all the time. Or NPCs like kreswell stay alive, badly wounded, but alive.
Edit: revised for more clarity? [shrugs]

KDR's 3 step guide to plotting
Too many complicated posts about this. Follow these steps. It has never failed me.
1. Idea? Idea.
2. Should I do it?
3. F*** it. I'll do it.If it fails, rinse and repeat.
This has literally never failed me and I've had a ton of fun in the process. Took me a while to realize that this is the best way to plot. If there's to be any guide on it, it has to be general, because ideas are ideas and they're always different. I know it seems as if this could be a troll post, but when I'm plotting this is literally what goes through my head and hasn't failed me yet. You can't worry about your character like its a child, growing up in your care. Go for a plots throat or go home. Simple. I ain't big on posts like these, but something in my head told me to make it. So, hope it helps someone.

RE: A suggestion
^^
This is what I did with Goodman. Never in a lifetime would I have thought a Necromancer would fit in the Mages Guild. I decided to give it a shot and things have turned out great so far, it even generated interest from others to join as necromancers. What I learned from that is this: "Don't ever throw away a chance to do something different, on the assumption of failure" -Quote from KDR
