RE: How to get things done for Krull
@--lizard-man--:
This sounds like my barbarian concept! Everyone's got to start somewhere, just make it his purpose to hunt down bigger and badder monsters and slay them to prove his strength. It might be an overgrown rat one day, an orc veteran the next and walking around with mountain bear hides the next until other characters catch on and hook you into their plots with promise of glorious battle.
Well that is already howo he thinks. Prove his strengh to the world. His battle prowess, his badassing-posture. I like the trophy ideia too. Every badass monster i defeat i will try to ask a DM to get me some tophy to show.
You should find the biggest baddest ass creature, and go on a quest to become strong enough to challange it to one on one combat. And win. Like a dragon for example.
I could go there with a party and then tell I´m going to defeat the monster alone. Yes, that could be a good ideia. I could use that.

How to get things done for Krull
Following the tips given in the topic below.
How should i proceed to achieving Krull´s objectives?
I´m playing simple with him. His main goals are to improve his battle prowess (mainly himself physically) and to defeat tough guys, monsters and stuff. Short history, to become a battle legend. I mean, the tough savage who goes and beat a bear with his own hands. A guy that using only a loin cloth and a big axe defeats a dragon and so on. However, he is not the tough guy yet and so the problem begin.
What do you guys think about the ideia? Should i just give up? Should I try to perform a ritual? Should i do some quests and try to find the secret of ogre´s strengh tatoo? Or something else?

RE: Assassination tips.
If i play the assassin for hire i would likely kill anyone for the right price lolz.
After all i don´t choose my victims.
The vigilante is compelled to kill evil-doers. They do their rp i do mine. Action and reaction.

RE: Assassination tips.
Great tips so far…. However I will only rolepay if i make the psychopath who likes to kill people or have some obssesion. If i Play the assassin for hire I will likely be someone else-s tool.
Or maybe i can play the some evil-purger who does justice in hiw own way. Like a evil batman or something. Mmmmmm.... That sounds interesting....
I´m thinking in playing the vigilante concept.

Assassination tips.
I thinking in creating a murderer for me. The kind of man that strikes from the shadows but I don´t have the know-how about killing people.
Any tips?I don´t want the gank thing. I want the kind of thing a lone assassin would do. A hunter in the night, stalking his prey in the woods, in the sewers, in the streets…..
Also, I would like the player of Orson Crowley to say something here.
Done.

RE: Ah so luring is using your head…Metagamers....
Luring like that is against the rules, as far as I know.
Perhaps you should shout this to great deal of players.

Ah so luring is using your head…Metagamers....
Why do people keep calling luring one enemy of a time using their heads?
It´s clear that a group that is 2 m of each other in game are not supposed to be defeated one by one.And the worst part is the complaining with more rushy chrs. I can even support the exploitation but pointing the fingers …that is too much.
Please, imagine the situation don´t just see the screen.
.... Done.

RE: How Much Do You Quest?
Loot, gold, and experience all can come from exploration, simply because there are lots of dms these days, and they are more likely to hit someone up with a DM quest out in the wilds then they would someone doing the quest/market/quest routine. That being said, I have never been as rich as a constant quester, its true-but, even if I did quest more often that wouldn't be the case. I don't worry about the perfect synergystic party, and end up using lots of consumables. To me, however, thats fine. I had a character die with 8k in gold waay back in the day, and found myself wishing I didn't hoarde as much and spent it more freely. Ever since then, I have done exactly that. And, while there have been times I wished I could afford some healing before I went on quest A, or exploration group B, for the most part I usually sit around 1-2 k in gold until a big event comes and makes me load up on supplies more then usual. As far as loot goes, if you don't go around hoping for a plus 3 damage reduction 30/5 full plate, there is plenty floating around from DM stuff these days. I've given away freely stuff that I thought was pretty sweet, but didn't fit my character, and have been given stuff in return in the same fashion.
I guess my overall point is this; if you don't stress it, gold comes when you need it. So does loot and experience. Don't let them tie down how you have fun with the game.
Arabel is different to me then. Because when i Play arabel loot does not come to me.
And I could say more. Thanks to the gods for I have finally been blessed with some dm events in the past days because in the past I just don't saw them happening.
About the exploration - You mean party exploration right - Cause when I explore alone these things never happen.
