I recently renewed my interest in programming for the first time since I was writing stuff in BASIC 25 years ago, and all advice pointed toward starting with C. I haven't done anything about it yet though. Keep us posted on your progress.
I beg to differ. I've quit 436 times over the past five years.
Sounds familiar. I'm currently in the middle of a relapse after 2 months clean.
My daughters (aged 11 and 8) made a rap diss track in response to that song after the first time they heard it.
As another recently returning player (albeit a lesser known, lesser respected one) I've noticed the same thing. Wasn't planning to complain about it, but just thought I'd add my +1 to your comments.
Looking to get back into CoA and a regularly scheduled session is appealing. OP PMed.

This thread made me rofl.
My first character was the halfling Soppi Blin (auto-generated name). He tried to pickpocket a beggar who then attacked him. Soppi auto-retaliated and killed him with his bare hands. Off to a OOC zone with a DM.
He used to spy on people from the shadows and once saw a bad guy in the mage's guild, so he set a minor trap on one of the doors. I'm sure the level 8ish fighter was really bothered by that.
He would volunteer to scout for parties but as I didn't know the server at all, he was comically bad at it, like getting lost on the road to Immersea.
I continue to do noobish things to this day, after 8 months and about 100 characters.
