Im pretty sure a few months back a bunch of us that were mining in the deepest parts of the underdark on a daily basis found a decent amount of mithril in our time. Not that I know how much it takes to make a sword, or even if there are recipes in game for them.

RE: DM Announcement RE: Favortism Et Al.
RE: favourtism.
I think the reason some people feel they are ignored, and others are favoured is simply because some players just have a greater ability to create and play interesting and engaging characters.
That's just the way it is. I can think of four specific players just off the top of my head that have made one gripping character after another. These characters don't just drive plots and act as enablers for other peoples plots. They inspire me to at least try and up my own game a bit. But there will be people who interpret it as them being favoured by DMs which is really just not the case.
If you try to think of it as a meritocracy where the DMs dont actually owe you a damn thing then it will probably be a start.

RE: Character concepts you always wanted to do but…
Ive always wanted to play a Derro my favourite DnD race. Only problem is that they are utterly insane and nobody would ever ally with them… some races are best left as npc enemies.

RE: When do you know, that you spend too much time on coa?
Had to post this.
Dream: The Red Hart successfully invade the city by flooding it and attacking on jet skis. Their leader who due to being completely unknown to me was called Sword Captain Dave Lister instead of attacking my character approached him and made an order for 50 of every type of bloodstone..

RE: Roleplay Recognition
@21:
I dislike the RP forum for the most part, having seen it as a horrible circle jerk fest in the past it sort of makes me cringe a little bit.
I just stick to tells
I find tells better too, the forum section reminds me of the monthly newsletter at my old workplace where the company directors would basically pat each other on the back.
