This trivia thread brought a smile to my face today! The old Arabel was…so much fun. I missed out on v2 I'm afraid, but v3 was SWEET. I will forever remember the Houses DeSchurr, Fezznick, and Thond with fondness. The KoMS, original battles with Clar Banda...some amazing times.

RE: Looking to build a Gnome Crew
Well there is already a gnome-based faction…that if I remember correctly is currently seriously lacking in membership! Apply for CoG and make epic CoG gnomes!

On War Wizards
((I know we shouldn't post identical research to ones already done, but the last time someone did a library research on this was 6 years ago and there was no response))
A blue-haired adventurer enters the Arabel library, and whatever portion of the Mage Guild library is open, and searches for a historical text of the War Wizards in the Arabel area, particularly one mentioning the War Wizard by the name of Grundo whose tower lays still untouched in Immersea. She particularly searches for information on his life and accomplishments, including his preferred school of magic, although she realizes such information may likely not be available.

Civil War Research - Attack on Crag
Ulayne enters the library and asks the librarian if he has any works on the Civil War. If so, she searches for mention of Lord Ondeth Waters' attack on Crag and how he performed such. If there are no such works, she asks the librarians if any of them remember the details of his brave assault on the Legion-held fortress and how he managed to take it.

RE: When do you know, that you spend too much time on coa?
After forty mins of manually deleting all the level one chars that I made and never played, I only got to K. I realized there was another half of the alphabet left and gave up.

RE: Character concepts you always wanted to do but…
Character concepts I might get around to someday:
CN Cleric of Clar Banda. A young and beautiful woman who never expected to have to work a day in her life after being betrothed to a handsome noble who she had fallen deeply in love with. When he died unexpectedly in the Civil War, she basically went insane and devoted her life to trying to get him back…in some sick way. She cares for nothing but finding his soul and speaking with him one last time.
LG Paladin or Cleric of Deneir. This young woman came to Arabel with one mission, to catalog the true history of the region. Her fervor in ensuring that every detail she scribes in ink is completely accurate sometimes leads her to miss out on important things. She will sometimes use the information she acquires to change the history when she doesn't like what she is writing, but she will never write something that is not guaranteed truth. She also keeps a written list of every name she hears.

RE: Looking for Players interested brining back, an old faction
As I'm not really sure that my character still fits the server, I'm up for helping anyone who wants to bring back an old noble house faction.
I don't have a ton of time to play, but I promise I make a good sidekick. PM me with details, and I'll roll up a character.

RE: Friggin concept me up with something
My favorite idea:
A Lathanderite!!!! Yeah we rock. You have Team Good to pal around with and you know that even if single players drop, the team will never really die.
Other things that this server really needs:
-
Happy-go-lucky halfling rogue adventurer who is mostly in it to see what he can experience. Preferably chaotic good.
-
An intelligent Half-Orc, preferably rogue, fighter, or cleric of a human deity, who downplays his orcish heritage and just wants to fit in with the humans. Maybe even showing vague interest in human-only factions.
-
Insert sweet monk idea here.

RE: Siamorphe!
@Khamal:
Start making some awesome for Lathander and attract followers. And who made you queen? 8)
Is trying! I guess it doesn't help that half the people who attend my services are clerics of other good deities heh.
