Chain Letter
"Dear Lord Lady Lahl
This is a chain letter-
Pass it on for good luck.If you do not pass it on withing 48 hours you will be stricken with bad luck. Carlos Strom, paladin of Gargos failed to pass this letter on and learned 4 years letter Garagos does not have paladins. Hertut, paladin of Bale failed to pass this letter on and he learned 2 years later that Bale isn't really a god.
Best wishes-
Lady Norah, Chief Justice of Arabel, Knight of the Merciful Sword"
This letter was found amongst Lady Norah's belongings. It seems she failed to pass it along. Five lines are drawn underneath, spaces to add names.
Miscellaneous Medium (anything that looks like a letter)
Cast Spell: Shield of Faith (5) (5 Uses/day)(Ideally the person can only use it once and would have to pass it around, but while this is impossible, I can imagine some DM having fun with it. Thanks to Nikko for the inspiration.)

It Takes Two to Dance
Most people imagine that fighting with a two-bladed sword result in a deadly dance of spinning blades, and are thus rather disappointed when the predictability and boring moves of the style does not live up to their expectations. One such elf decided to abandon the usual training and make a fighting style more in line with his imagination. He would spin into combat in a way that would deflect most clumbsy blows out of the way. This is his weapon.

Freedom of MovementTalos' Iron Staff
Ihgbae was a powerful cleric of Talos, but had one critical flaw: he was miserly. Extremely. After refusing to tithe for several years, he found that his prayers were no longer answered. Left without any spells and still wanting to spread destruction, he spent a large part of his gold into having this staff enchanted.
Ironically, the next natural lightning storm saw his end.

(better yet would be to restrict it to Talosians)Executioner's Double Axe
It is often thought of executioners as especially cruel and stupid people. Ongril has long been in the employ of the militia as an executioner, and was very different from the stereotype, as he is such an example of stupidity he is in a whole different category. Thinking that two axes would allow him to execute twice as many people at once, he had this double axe made. The edges, lovingly sharpened, seem to barely stop as they go through matter (namely, armor and flesh). Ongril probably misplaced the double axe at one point.

Massive Criticals (5 damage)Key to the Planes
A curse was once placed on a mage, slowly robbing him of his senses. When he lost the ability to talk, he adapted by storing his spells in trinkets and potions, thus avoiding to uselessly cast his spells silently at great cost. When he lost of his sight, he went to battle with his tower's key instead of this trinket.
Holding the key out in front of him, the user turns the key as if he was unlocking a door. The more he turns the key, the more powerful the spell.

A well-preserved mandible from a dreaded Rust Monster, it has been magically hardened, just the right lenght to be used as a dagger, although rather unwieldy. Comes with a leather scabbard with a warning written upon: "Keep away from metals".

Here are a few attempts…
Summoner's Smoking Censer
One mage was particularly fond of incense to find the proper state of mind to cast his spells. He devised a mean to combine his preferences with the practical, turning a heavy flail into a smoking censer. While weaker than a normal flail, the smoke incomodates the enemy, a practiced wielder being able to create large bursts of smoke.

These tools are often given to the devoted without the ability to summon dark globes over their foes. The exotic weapons, in the circular shape dyed as the Lady of Loss' symbol, are imbued with the power to absorb light if broken, thus being able to darken an entire battlefield rather quickly.

Decreased Attack Modifier (-1)Bah, I thought of a lantern that would cast darkness and give darkvision, but the editor wouldn't allow it, and imagined a ring for the greedy, that would reduce constitution by 8 and deal damage over time in exchange for making gold on a timely basis, but scripting wasn't allowed… Back to the drawing board!
