RE: Surviving as a Caster
I disagree. Life is easier for casters now, harder for tanks and DPS.
Dispelled buffs apply to the warriors who already have limited important buffs (stoneskin, improved invisibility).

RE: Shaman's Mask of Doom
I just want to throw this out there. Keep the quest as is, or make it even longer and harder. I miss having a couple of quests that were really deadly, and really rewarding to complete.

RE: Investment Vs Return
It's a game of friends. You need players that are your friends OOCly that you can play with and have a good laugh, and the same for DMs. You need to have a give and take with DMs, where you both entertain each other - that being said, if you're trying then you may as well quit the character.
If you're not having fun, don't bother.
Once you stop trying to win, stop trying to stand out as a player, roleplayer, pusher or whatnot, and just have relax and have fun, you'll find that fun starts to swarm around you.
It's a Catch-22. You'll get loot, rewards, attention, xp, factions, bases, good rp tokens and npc allies once you stop caring whether or not you get any of it. Just play a character that you don't take seriously. The character can take itself seriously, but once you care too much, it isn't going to be fun.

RE: The Greatest Heist in the History of Arabel
This story goes back much further than previously detailed, to two intrepid adventurer's trolling the server, trying to stir up some fun. When no one showed up, they made off alone, with an uncertain fate and looming DM spice.
What you saw above, and here below is in truth: THE HUNT FOR THE DREADED GREAT BLOATED DIRE OGRE-JELLY!
We embark on our quest, and find what we once thought to be our quarry, but was in fact merely a troll-jelly, menacing though it was.
What we later found was the lowest form of our foes henchmen; ogre-jelly!
Weeks later, with new found allies and adventurers in hand, we return to the battle-site to find our enemy. Alas he is not fond, instead: spiders!
We soon learn that the site is occupied by wereats.
An army of wererats.
Defeated by the wererats, we strike a deal save our fallen friends. The price? The wondrous magic ham of Zacharry Snyderlson.
We plot.
While we buy bread and distract the bakers, our master thief, codenamed Hard Snake does Navy Seal rolls in and out of windows to lift some disguises.
Fully disguised, plan sure to fail miserably, we prepare to enter the tower.
