Alkhabazhar [Parasitic Nematode]
[A very chipper looking halfling walks into the library, and pulls one librarian aside. She talks the ear off the poor librarian, whispering a tale about how she helped slay an infernalist and that the man mentioned a few names before he died. She tells the lady that she is working for a Mister Sheriff Ashcroft, and that "don't worry this is for the good guys". In particular she wants to know about a specific demon named Alkhabazhar, and what relation it might have to a mysterious "Uthal"]

Half forgotten childhood book
So, I decided to track down one of those half-remembered books that I adored as a child. I thought it was called "the playwright's apprentice" but … I looked and that title does not exist.
Anyone a telepath who can sift through my moth eaten memories? :D Or anyone who knows anything about kid's fantasy books who can point me in the right direction?
I remember it being a very similar notion to Crispin: Cross of lead.
I also remember there being Shakespearean actors/ bards/ minstrels involved. Then again... it is always possible that I am just nuts! .. thanks for putting up with crazy ol' me :)

Weird question! Environmental issues
I preface this by saying, I'm a student of Sustainable Agriculture, and Envi-Sci. So this is something that is constantly on my mind. I recently read a very interesting book, Collapse by Jared Diamond that put these issues into an international perspective. (if anyone else has read it I would love to hear your opinion on it)
So, I was thinking…. This is an international community, and we all deal with different things every day. So what would you say is the most important/most pervasive/ most connected to your every day life- environmental problem(or problem with environmentalists :D)?
For my own part, I would say the most pervasive problem is the waste of many resources through simple negligence, and not paying attention to the little things. ie the amount of electricity wasted through keeping lights on all the time, unwillingness/inability to upgrade to more efficient means, not bothering to walk the two feet to the recycle bin, ect. (South Eastern USA)
What about you?

RE: Ninga looting in the elven text thing
As someone who was not there, I have very little to say about the matter.
I have only been playing for a year now and the thing that is most dear to me about CoA are the friendships I have forged and the conversations I have had with people I would never have met otherwise. So, I hardly care who won or lost, or if things were done in the proper decorum. My deepest regret is that there are people who feel that their time is not well spent with COA, and I will miss those who decide to leave because they are angry with the situation.

RE: Relative size of factions
Neo and I counted twelve, but there are a handful that are inactive or just don't have the time to play right now. Neo and I counted fourteen in the Mage's Guild, two or three of which are pseudo-inactive.
I don't think the Legion should be singled out.

Scrying and Divination
- a soft spoken woman in purple and black is seen in the library off and on for several days. At one point she inquires to the Librarians for any material on scrying- particularly methodologies and rituals.
Also looks into litterature regarding Alaundo, the true prophet.*
