I am not sure if anyone else has done this or even thought of it

but copying your nwn folder to a usb key can be used as a backup (keys are getting less expensive, i use a 8 gig one)

that is what i have done now for a little while, i also have used that to install it on my new computer (when the old one dies or has been replaced) i just try to over write it about once every month or so, you do not actually install it, you drag it to the new place you want the game to be on the new computers hard drive

the game may complain when you try to run it from the "nwn.exe" inside the nwn folder, but the game usually works

I'm not totally useless, I can be used as a bad example

I have such a backup. It has saved me reinstalling everything many times.

This is worth a sticky really. It'll help people like Olouth and Caek who are always uninstalling the game, only to put it back in a few weeks later.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

          NO SPITTING.

          DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.

Between computer changes and uninstalls, I've paid for six copies of NWN. This is fantastic.

and if you don't have several gigabytes to store your game… at least save your CD keys!
You can always download a cracked version and use it with your legal keys, can't you?

nwncdkey.ini in the nwn folder, if I am correct.

If some poor English shows up in this post: and you're an English teacher, language-patriot or simply kind; please correct me. Thanks.
