Avengers movie - Spoiler Potential Lurks Within!

I could connect with Hulk and Bruce when Edward Norton took on the role. Otherwise I have always hated the character, up until this movie. Its been a good long while I actually smiled when I walked out of the Movies.

Edward Norton couldn't carry Bill Bixby's water bottle.
I prefer the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno Hulk (sans CGI) for character connectability. With that Hulk you never had the feeling he would ever intentionally hurt an innocent bystander. The Douche Bagging Villans were another matter, there were DB shaped holes out through the walls every where. Little old ladys and stray kittens had nothing to fear from that Hulk. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=hul ... FORM=VIRE3 Hulk and Thor the Early years?
This new Hulk is just an insane malstrom of raw uncontroled destruction. Smashed kittens every where... Terrible, just Terrible.

LOVE it, Hulk IS a monster when unleashed. They so got that feeling right!

Why do you hate Kittens CitizenBane?

Finally saw it.
I have been a bit critical of the Marvel movies, but I suppose I am not expecting super great things. I gave it 3/5. It had alot of action, a lot of funny moments, and a bit more of the epic fighting I expect to see in a Marvel movie (Which was a bit lacking in the Thor movie. I agree, Thor was a lot more interesting in this movie). I was also mildly impressed with the new actor for Bruce Banner (Becauce lets face it, no one really needs to be Hulk. He's CGI and says next to nothing).
Now for the bad. Why do I get the feeling this conflict wasn't quite as epic as I would expect to warrant the need for the Avengers? The movie was indeed epic, but somehow I think it falls just a little bit short. Also, I think the movie developed too slowly. This is likely due to the fact that so many characters were involved. This is already a movie that spans over two hours.
Overall, if you are a comic book fan, you've been waiting to see this film, and you should see it (Just not in 3D). Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk are truely bad ass in this, and it's worth seeing just to laugh your ass off at the comic relief and the epic kick ass-ery you'd expect from a Marvel movie.

Went to see it with my baby girl last night. Some cracking good lines in this! I loved it.
