If I were to run a NwN Campaign...What would you want to play in?
-
Hey guys, every so often, i get the urge to a NwN campaign. I tell a story via the NwN toolset and you fight monsters and partake in the tale I wish to tell.
I got a few ideas. Each of them requires 3-6 people to be totally involving and balanced. They'd be conducted 1-2 times a week in 2 hour sessions at the same time so you can plan around it. I plan for a total of 10 sessions. All campaigns will range from level 2 to level 15 at the end.
First Pitch is this:
-
You're the sons/daughters of a wealthy mayor of a small town in the kingdom of Tethyr. You were sent to the capital to study to become (whatever base class you chose) and return home to surprise your father with the good news of your collective graduations. You return home to tragedy...
-
You're an orc tribe given the duty of keeping a prophetic scroll protected, though the original reason why is kept a close secret by the village shaman, or forgotten to time. Your 'band' for lack of a better word, conspire to steal the scrolls, and read them for yourself...
-
You're lost in the feywild, and must find a way out...
-
You're gladiators in Thay, and a slave revolt has permitted you to escape. Will you betray the revolt, or lead the rag-tag bunch to the borders of Rashemen and to their freedom?
-
-
Warring Teythrian Barons fighting over an ancient vineyard that makes the most money in Tethyr. You're mercenaries, but which side will you pick in this soon to be bloody dispute?
-
I'd rather run ideas confined to the four mentioned.
-
The Gladiator idea sounds great for intrigue/PvP but probably means no magic allowed as your class? I love campaigns with an overarching threat.
Spiffy version of 'Alice in Wonderland' also sounds like something I'd be very down for.

I’d like the gladiator idea. So we can all go Spartacus!
