Hides and Totems Left at the Swamp's Edge

  • Bizarre shamanistic totems begin appearing at the edge of the "King's" Swamp - Elk skulls propped up on mounds of mud and decorated in crow feathers. Chiseled into the forehead of each of these skulls is a crude, circular symbol that represents the head of a dragon with curved horns.

  • The totems are maintained in those quiet twilit evenings when the fading sun obscures the lumbering draconic caretaker tending to them. Several more begin emerging as well, all of them facing the walls of Arabel. No notes are left or any symbols with apparent meaning - just the silent, dead stare of the elk skulls with the dragon mark.
