People of Old town / East Way
Those who would eat well in the upcoming meat shortage that is about to hit your region need only leave the symbol of Malar on your doors. Those who do will see fresh meats delivered through their door.
Those who do not, shall nothing.
[A large amount of prey flesh along with a particularly massive corpse of a colossal owlbear is cut up and delivered to houses around Old Town and Eastway that have the symbol of Malar on their doors.]
[Any excess meat is pissed on and burned on the border of the Hullack forest.]
[A malar panther claw is sticked with a dagger to the Hanse Tree of Old Town, maybe a sign of devotion and praise to the God of Hunt or a taunt?]
[More prey is given to those willing to beg, though as the prey becomes more and more scarce, the smaller the offered meat is.]
[Along with the prey offered to those with enough humility to beg, any hunters caught in the Hullack are killed and their corpses piked at the Eastway border to the Hullack forest, the most noteworthy being a Giant and a Half-Orc.]
[Another hungry monster has its entire, hacked apart corpse piked up on a spear, the killer apparently setting an example for those who would hunt in the Hullack.]
[The corpses of some thinning, starving alpha-predators turn up on the borders of the Hullack. There might have been enough meat on their bones to feed a person, if the corpses hadn't been rendered inedible through various bodily excretions.]
[Even more meat of steadily more emaciated beasts is delivered to those houses offering praise to Malar.]
[Living trolls are staked into trees around the entrance to the Hullack, the stakes are charred and having apparently cauterized the wounds of the trolls, a warning for certain.]
[Lastly, more hunter monsters are executed and piked up at the entrance to the Hullack, with the exception of a ghostly set of robes and a pile of previously animated bones.]
