So I am just curious about what Jazz people listen to. You can link to youtube or just name names. I am always looking for names.

Most of the people I listen to are older but 3 Saxophonists I listen to that are new are:

      Chris Potter
      Mindy Abair
      Candy Dulfer

      Dead/Retired:Drago,Gorf, Warian, West,Elizu, Switch,Sir Micha
      Living: Allan Scarlet

I'm a sucker for soft music, but I don't know too many straight Jazz musicians.

Boney James is the main guy I listen to…maybe a little Keeny G (lol)
And Sade, even though she's not a jazz artist per-say, her band and voice are perfect.

        > He don't got to know~ where…
        > Does he touch you here like this? this? this? this?
        > Let me take the friction from your~ lips…

Beware, for I am about to give my selection! … Also including an examples of tracks that I absolutely adore.

Django Reinhardt (you can no longer find musicians like him...): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS2ylPAUxzA

Nina Simone (Check also the remix of this song by Troublemaker, has a punch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8tuTSi6Sck

Frank Sinatra (though not Jazz only, it's Sinatra): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-8_Se1n67Y

Connie Francis (sniff I am not crying!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0SmSfYo8iE

The Mills Brothers (Check up their background, who needs trumpets?): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14QEoEIvUuk

Well, this dose should last a while. Might hop on later to include a bit more.

          Cheers.

          Sniffing out concepts.

Miles Davis was my introduction to jazz, and he covers the whole range.

A good starting point if you want to sample some.

Very nice. Yeah I have been an avid jazz musician and Listener for 6 years now so I was just curious.
