This has gone a bit off topic… But I think that good players doing meaningful things should be given attention. It doesn't matter if their build is a bit funky or whatever as long as they work towards creating fun for others.
The quiet and powerful warrior is not interesting to be around. He might be handy on quests/events for his ability to kill things and save you from being killed, but help me god they are 90% boring to death. Even if the min/maxed paladin is a powerbuild from hell and is incredibly powerful in many aspects, as long as he has an interesting personality and a clearly defined view on things that he is willing to speak out of then I'll want to be around him and listen to what he does.I think this has turned into "powerful characters are poor at RP while gimps are excellent RP'ers" which is not true. There have been interesting and fun "powerbuilds" and deathly boring and lame "RP builds", and there still are. Character depth and having more than one dimension is what makes others interesting and makes me want to stick around them for more. That is what should be rewarded IMO.
