He would indicate that it is connected to the Hags and lavender fields in some way, as well as Spirits and Shadow, if that would aid the Librarian in their search.
He asks mainly about the background of this being, if there is any recorded history or previous sightings. -
The librarian indicates she was an infamous spectre that haunted the hullack some several centuries ago, one that kidnapped a host of children for some unknown reason.
He is uncertain as to the 'lavender fields' and the connection she might possess with Hags, however.
