So, whoever plays the less wins.
-
Forte needs to get in on this then
-
@Amy:
Live fast fight hard and die in glory.
Or maybe just die to the giant spider on Frin's.

well that would be living fast dying hard now wouldnt it…
-
Nah. More like living short, dying silly.

Yeah just like some people think its silly to play a necromancer, or a palladin, or a druid.
not real sure what your adding to this conversation really cause tis obvious you don't like the idea since your first comment, like i said if its not for you dont do it…
-
okay Gondwick Axebender is begining his brutal life in Arabel in mere moments.
-

That made no sense. If I disagree with something, I'm not allowed to voice my opinion. I'm not really bashing you or anything. I'm trying to help you not do something that I see as a partial waste of time.
Why do I think this? Because 95% of character deaths are on SCRIPTED QUESTS. We're here to write a story, and the awesomeness of your character's story might be ended by Orc No Name, simply because you decided to base a character around a foreign OOC idea that has nothing to do with the spirit of the server.
But by all means, please prove me wrong IG.
-
Well the short life of Gondwick is already over, 400 xp from 4th made it almost all the way to the end of the fey quest with no death, was definitely fun.
and jagged soul, you get what you like out of Arabel, i get what i like that was my point.

I'll definitely be joining this challenge! This challenge is not for the weak of heart, stomach, or humor!
Since I think I have an over-abundance of everything but stomach (too skinny, but working on it T-T), I will make a halfling knee-clubber. For those if you not familiar with that, it is a halfling that uses exclusively clubs, and clubs the knees of giants. Ranger works best for this end. A few rogue levels for the extra damage never hurt either.
I'll make mine immediately following the druid gathering, if there's time before any DM events. If not, I'll make it before midnight of today.
His name shall be…. "Bruses Eessily"
-
Guys, we don't want this happening, please see here for why.
-
wow i just got ocularly castrated…
-
Well my char is dead just after making lvl 2 thanks to orcus in the ladies challenage
-
Orcus? Bannon, Vuldryn, okay. But you died to one of the whimpiest!
If I played something like this, my character would have a fobia to death.

Thats the point of it when you bravely face death you are risking everything adds alot more excitement to battles knowing if you lose it's your last.

Wouldn't work for me. If I know my character is going to last three fights, then I don't get attached to them. If I'm not attached to the character, I don't care all that much whether he lives or dies.
-
It doesn't really add more excitement, since you'll probably just quest with optimal parties. And if you don't, then it's like fireblood said. You won't even be attached to the character.
-
If people are having fun doing this I don't see any reason to argue against it, since its not hurting anyone.
-
What the guy above said.
-
I just don't think he should be incentivating other people to get nowhere.
Sure it's fun. He's playing a game afterall. That doesn't mean that the alternative is more fun than as if he had a really good idea to implement ICly that would be fun for the entire server than to be ending characters prematurely.
