Would be nice to have reagents allowing spells that have an HD limit, to have a higher limit. Such as Sleep, which could have a reagent to affect 1HD higher than the limit or maybe even acting as the Deep Slumber spell. It could consume a fairy/fey dust.

Just thought of an interesting one. Use some sort of sickness related reagent, like rat tails or sewer gunk, to make the spell Tasha's Hideous Laughter make the person get diseased and spew out a cone of.. ehem, puke that would make anyone in their way have a chance at getting sick as well. I think that'd be hilarious, and awesome for Talonite spellcasters as well.

Certain charms or other items could be used to animate more powerful skeleton warriors, for instance. Others for mummies or ghouls.
That'd be pretty sweet.
I really like this idea. In some other cases, one has to worry more about balancing and avoid simply making things more powerful. In this kind of case, however, the added risk and fun could really be worth it. Imagine some fairly rare and expensive reagents that you would not just find in a shop for a few gold pieces - but rather things you need to complete some evil quest for (DM/scripted), visit haunted and forbidden places, despoil and disturb graves for (on the graveyard, or in crypts where others could catch you). Fun stuff - and things for a necromancer to pursue that can involve others without a lot of DM attention.

Reagents for cantrips to make visuals appear with no other effect. Like for flare, using pixie dust (or something) makes a cloud of dust poof up (like the one that appears when you summon something) that can be used like a magic trick, that sort of thing. I don't know all of the VFX myself, so I don't know what else to suggest. I thought of this with a street magician type of idea in mind.

Essence of fire, immunity to burning hands
Ironwood, immunity to scare/fear
Skeleton knuckle, immunity to ghoul touch
Fey dust, immunity to color spray -
Badger Sorcerer Bloodline.
A regent to turn protection from alignment/circle of alignment into a protection from Law/Chaos/Neutral.
