History of the Orcish tribes of the North
-
Gorana enters both the Spire of Knowledge and Temple of Oghma requesting books with accounts of the Orc Tribes of the North, and any campaigns by Cormyr to hunt and destroy those tribes.
-
Gorana is often spotted in the Scriptorium Library pouring over book after book, often with a furrowed brow mouthing words to herself. Periodically she will pronounce loudly to whomever is present, "I has question." And then proceed to seek a definition of some new word or idea she has discovered. The process is long and slow, but she is steady and makes progress.
She also is seen speaking with clerks at the Militia Tower, court house and Purple Dragon Garrison, seeking records of Military action toward Orcish tribes and names of people and houses involved with such endeavors.
When at the Paertrover Estate she will often ask Lord Crimmon to regale her with stories of the Purple Dragon's war efforts, listening keenly for mentions of campaigns against Orcish tribes. She enjoys the time with Crimmon and takes note on Military tactics also. Often Crimmon asserts he is too busy to talk, but she continues asking for his time and insights.
She also searches the house records and library for mention of involvement with orcs.

[The librarian ponders of the question for a long time, digging out a couple of books speaking of orcs for the half-orc to read. He may appear a little curious of actually seeing a half-orc at all, but he does not mention this and begins stacking up books. Few books explain all orcan tribes, no adventure had bothered to record the local tribes of any monsterous creature. However, there are a few historical records of orcan tribes]

Hours pass as Gorana is lost in thoughts provoked by the librarian's book selection for her. At times, it appears she falls asleep while sitting upright. Occasionally one of her arms or legs twitches violently, perhaps remembering a recent battle, and knocks over a nearby chair or pile of books. If anyone suggests she go and get some rest, Gorana is quick to exclaim, "I'm not tireds. I just thinking".
She scribbles many notes and seems satisfied with her discoveries.
