Trees tileset
-
Ever since the update (1.69??) that introduced treetops to the tiles, I have found it near impossible to see/navigate.
in places where trails go through forests, I am reduced to attempting to follow "pink dots" of my party on the overview map.(at one point, lol, telling a party - I'm the high level tank in the party, I can't see to manuever in that tileset, if we go there the rest of you will all die because I wont be able to get to you for rescues)
using the character view cam at extreme close-in somewhat works, but is effective only for following someone a few feet behind, or looking for a transition when its right in front of you.
What do other people do?
Is there some hak that removes the treetops… or some cam override that makes it more bearable? -
I just zoom in all the way, like a follow cam. it makes me feel all super-imersed and stuff. Kinda annoying at times, but I like it.

The over-rides provide a lot of really beautiful trees that don't actually go away when you use the second story tiles option.
Does anyone know what override the trees are contained in? I need to turn this off ASAP.

Yes, They don't go away !
but if its a override, not the tileset, i'll expriment i guess -
also still interested in a solution here. I think I even removed all haks and overrides at one point, then just put in the ones supplied via the coa-updater/launcher, and these nymph-trees (beautiful, but bad for you sight) were still there, so it might be in a different type of resource..

Go to your override folder.
Search for all items starting with tdc, tde, tdr, tid, ttr, and most importantly tno.
They should all be clumped together. Cut and paste them into another folder and see if your tree problems are gone.

You just have to get good at manoeuvring your camera. If you are not already, use the unlocked camera for this. Then it gets easy.
