Tentative estimated time. At, around, or sometime after that is when we are thinking. Unless the DM's have other ideas.
-
I'll be off an hour and a half after the proposed time. Be there asap!
-
Won't make it as it's way too late for me, look forward to hearing all about it though!

That time is accurate, and will go down. Sorry to those who won't be there, but it's not possible to accommodate everybody involved.

This is a permadeath event. The outcome can be one of several scenarios that I've mapped out, and the outcome will completely depend on the level of preparations that all sides have put into this, be it alliances or planning, as well as a random component that depicts the chaotic nature of battles.
The final outcome of the battle will NOT be determined by which PC has the most potions or the highest levels. I also expect that high levels (levels 10+) will act RESPONSIBLY. If I see high level PCs who've done nothing to contribute to this event, PKing people left and right just because they can, I'll force retire them on the spot and retcon all their actions. All such PCs are advised to speak to me before the event so we can work out something for you to do that still contributes to the event (Ideally, you should have already come up with something on your own by now)
As this battle will be joined by many PC and NPC factions, the final outcome will not depend on which side lost the most PCs, but on multiple weighted die rolls (the weight being a bonus added to a die roll based on level of preparation), one for each of the NPC vs NPC square offs. PC vs PC battles will be decided by the PCs, though NPC support will be available in these battles as well, as appropriate.
