After discovering reference to Chouthal in this book, Barrett seeks out a librarian and asks if there are any other books about the region at the time, especially ones containing reference to a Wordsmith, famous (or infamous) for his infidelities.

_Any allusions to Chouthal and its inhabitants are by all measures, rare and few and often buried in the bowels of obscure references and poetical meanderings.
As are any whole and unmarred written works that might have survived the long and punishing ages since its fall.
He is informed by an archivist that the tower libraries, of course, would pay handsomely for any such venerable works that he might unearth._
