CFL Football!

As a precursor to my annual Grey Cup thread, I've made this so those fans of the Canadian Football League can discuss current going ons in the football world.
I'm also certain this thread will get hijacked by NFL fans, like last time :P
So far, its been a terrible season for me, a Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan, since despite having stellar players on our team we just couldn't get anything done and are now sitting at 4 and 12 with only two regular season games left (which means we're out of playoff contention). Even worse, we lost our 1st, 2nd and 3rd string quarterbacks so now we're going with some Joey Elliot fellow who has only played a few minutes in professional CFL football. Well, there's always next year… (the new Winnipeg Blue Bombers motto.)
As for how the rest of the season will go, I expect that we'll see Calgary heading into the Grey Cup from the West Division. Saskatchewan is really hot and cold but I expect them to win the semi-finals and then lose in Calgary for the west final. As for the Eastern Division, I'm actually going to say its a toss up between Hamilton and Montreal. Hamilton is looking really strong going into these last few games, but Montreal, as always is the team to beat in the CFL.
My hope is that we'll see Hamilton and Calgary in the Grey Cup with Hamilton winning it, because I would like to see Hamiltons quarterback, Kevin Glenn, win a Grey Cup that he truly deserves after playing years of great football and not getting his chance to win the championship.
Also, for American football lovers, I would seriously consider giving the CFL a try. The games are very similar, but the CFL is more oriented towards speed and big plays which can make for some very interesting games. Check out cfl.ca if your interested in our football. Or, check out tsn.ca and go to the CFL section, you can watch Friday Night Football online there and we have two good games coming up tomorrow.

With Coburn, Calvillo and the arsenal of offensive weapons we have, montreal will wint he grey cup for the second straight year.
Our defense is as solid as ever and chip cox deserves defensive player of the year recoginition.

Montreal is definately just as good as ever, but both Calgary and Hamilton are far superior to last year. Hamilton has a strong offense with Kevin Glenn at the helm at Deandra Cobb finally picking up his run game, and the Hamilton defense has proven they can shut down a superior offense (Montreal didn't have much to play for in there 40-3 loss, but I don't think they game into that game playing to lose).

Also worth noting, they didn't have cobourne in that game. He is a MAJOR part of their offense.
Also, I highly doubt the alouettes will get beaten by the tiger cats twice in a row.
They will readjust and trample them (or at least just win)
