Shevarra looks for books on military protocols of using using flags or horns to send orders to troops. She is specifically trying to find "Public" or "Historical" music notation of Cormyrian battle calls. Things like "Parade march", "retreat", "Charge", "Swing right/left", "Archers".. etc.

(Unless of course current ones are in there, but I assume other than parade ones those are kept secret ! !)

There's a small chapter in a book about war that mentions that most armies, and even many brigades have their own battle signals. Cormyr's vary based on the regiment and commanding officer, and often, in important battles, are determined directly before a battle to prevent enemies from causing confusion with their own horns.

//Really vague and general question there. Typically the DMs don't like to sit down and come up with a ten page essay on the many different battle signals of Cormyr, which will only be read once and then never used again. I've got enough essays and papers to write without adding this! :P

I have bad days. If I'm not being nice and friendly check back tomorrow.

Sorry, about the poor phrasing…Wasn't looking for specific signals to be written down here... but rather simply IF signals were detailed, so they might be learned.

IF they were. We'd already have them details, in which case, a simple search of the forum would reveal them FYI.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

            NO SPITTING.

            DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.
