Research on the term "Bannahogg"
-
Ichabod Hexley researches the term 'Bannahogg' – possibly a demon -- looking for more information on the term.

In a book of nursery rhymes, he finds:
"Proud men brag, proud man tall.
Mountains crumble, mountains fall.
The Bannahog is on the prowl."It is apparently a rhyme children recite while playing a game, one child is the "giant" who is blindfolded by the others and must attempt to chase and catch the other children singing the rhyme. The game often leads to stumbling and falling for the blindfolded child, who once he trips over something is hit by the other children with willow switches. Its a violent game, most parents try to stop their children from playing, but that makes it ever more popular with young boys.

Hexley also attempts to find any mention of the name "Safiya" in relation to this tale.

The Librarians note that the name is originally Mulhorandi in origin, but survives among the bedine tribes as well. The Banahogg rhyme has no relation to the name that they know of.
