The Stuff of Arabel that makes No Sense
-
What in this server do you find that makes absolutely no sense in reality?
Bottled Pooka??? Pooka or Phooka is usually in the form of an Ass, horse, or goat. How can you bottle that?
Bottled Dryad??? That is like trying to bottle a human…How is that possible?Dwarven Ale??? It requires Ironwood Acorn to make.....I did not know dwarves had a green thumb to growing trees for their Ale?
Quest Food Run Basket of Bread??? 50lbs worth of bread? Really? I have never seen anyone carry that much bread at once?
-
There're magics that can reduce the size of things, as well as the fact that the practice of bottling fey is actually magic in nature, it doesnt have to abide by regular rules, just magic ones.
The ironwood acorn for dwarven ale is meant to represent the cork, methinks, and different corks do actually give different textures to the drink.
The Spire does cater to a lot of people, 50 ilbs might not even be enough. xD

It actually all makes sense, you're jut not thinking it through.
They're FAIRIES. The goblins and Unseelie court who make bottled fairies use magic bottles to trap the fairies. Also, Pookas in NWN are not usually in the shape of donkeys and never are in CoA since we don't have a donkey model.
Actually, many old frontier liquors were made with acorns. So the ale makes perfect sense if you know anything about the history of alcohol.
You've obviously never SEEN a bread delivery. 100 loaves of bread each weighing half a pound.

If it doesn't 'make sense' then a wizard probly did it.

In a world of dragons, elves, all-powerful deities and magic, there's an explanation for everything
What I don't get is how Nadie keeps losing that damn kitten

This shit right here, Unfie's spitting straight up truths.

and where the hell does the cat keep gold?
and dont get me started on the book! -
This thread was not intended to get things answered….just the what we find funny and unrealistic.
So give me things you think make no sense
-
People that quest with no supplies? That makes no sense in any way.
-
Adventurers only drink booze and never eat anything. And still they manage coherent sentences and all of them (from hin to half-dragons) weight 200 lbs when carried.
Oh and people carry tens of thousands of gold pieces in their pockets.
Snake's don't throw firebombs anymore, but they used to.

Flying creatures setting off traps on the ground????
Seen fighter and rouges never sleep once in their lives.?????
-
Jellied Baby Slaad - Meat Jelly?????
Casting verbal spells under water????
-
Carrying thousands of arrows makes no sense. Heck… Having to be shot by more than one arrow before dying makes no sense.
How do dragons enunciate words with that tongue and jaw structure?
Half Orcs, half elves, half anythings? How is the DNA compatible?

@Zargen:
Jellied Baby Slaad - Meat Jelly?????
Casting verbal spells under water????
most jellie uses gelatin, made from horses hooves, this one makes more sense than you think :-)

The "carrying tens of thousands of gold" thing… I always interpreted it as carrying coins of many types. Like 1 gp = 1 copper coin. So 1 platinum = 10 gold = 100 silver = 1000 coppers, and so forth.

Back in the day when you needed to carry tons and tons of money on your person you'd carry gems.
