Well I lost everything with the character I was most happy with so now its time to start over yet again.
Looking for ideas to run with.

I LIKE YOU!The hardest part about RP'ing is finding a good idea for a character TO RP. On this website, there are tons of character generators, and tons of fun stuff to look over to get you started. It's legit. I use it a ton in my character making. It's mostly used for story writing, but it gives good information..

My only advice is to think up an actual concept NOT a class/race/religion combination, with a backstory.
Read Molochs posts about concepts in particular, it explains the difference very well in my humble opinion.
Once I started thinking in this way, it starting being easier to come up with fun characters to play.
I think about class/race/religion last.
I think about what type of person they are first.
Egotistical fashion addict , driven by loss (Gamwell) - 'Driven by loss' is actually a development on the original concept here. And part of the original concept changed ALOT. But that's character development.
Partially insane, curious meddler (Novo)
Arrogant powermonger (Xool)
Schizophrenic prophetic hermit (Syn)
Theres some examples of concepts. Any race/class/religion could fit, some may jump out as fitting better, but any can be done.
A prophet, like Syn, would probably fit being a follower of Savras. But, could just as easily follow Cyric. Or any other god really.
A fashion addict may fit a bard, but Gamwell was a fighter/wizard/ranger!
Arrogant powermonger might be a powerful warrior class, but could easily fit a druid, or even a monk. (or anything really)
So yeah, that's my two cents. Sure you wanted specific ideas but oh well.

It had mentions of Twilight and Vampires in the same sentence. Actually, there were several mentions of Twilight there so I had to shut it down quickly before it managed to corrupt my soul. Linking that is EVIL I tell you.
But otherwise, mostly what Bable said.

Join the Dungeons and Dragons Club! We've got twelve members, but half of them are freshmen, and we don't really talk to them. There are two Campaigns currently going on, one that I DM, they're all around level 6, but we could start you out somewhere near their level, and one that's DM'd by one of the Freshmen, and god only knows what level they've gotten to with their lack of RP and insane goblin-grinding.
More importantly; Factions aren't concept substitutes, newbletz!

Okay? So? Who cares about the stupid Twilight Stuff you saw on the site, that's not what it's about.
That's just stupid stuff the website does. Ignore it then. Look at the generators. Or not.
