New Video Card

This is a call for help for anyone who knows about video cards.
I spent all day today looking online at possible choices and I came onto the GeForce GTX 460.
My dilemma lies in the fact that I cannot find eVGA, BFG or Asus models of this card for sale anywhere in the 1 Gb model. My only option seems to be the Gigabyte version.
Now I know they have a solid background in motherboards but does anyone know how good they are for video cards?

And what are you asking? Nvidia makes Geforce, so the motherboard company thing is confusing.

If you've settled on the GTX 460, Stuffydoll, then any brand is fine. It's new enough that everyone is following the reference design for the moment, anyway (the exception is using better RAM chips on some of the overclocked versions, no biggie).
Try to get the 1GB version though, not the 768MB one. It's not just for the extra RAM (which matters in Crysis, the game you'll be using to show it off and that uses around about 900 to 1040MB of VRAM. Damnit, Crysis), the memory bus bandwidth is higher (which matters under high load, and if you're getting a mid/high end card and not intending to run it at high loads then I'm not sure what you're doing).
EDIT: Gigabyte graphics cards are in general fine. I wouldn't pay any extra for one, but their quality control is pretty good. I'd say better than eVGA or BFG, probably worse than Asus.

toportime: The only thing im afraid with newegg though is that I will get ripped on customs fees/taxes since I am north of the border.
Adelor: For the difference in price, I was for sure going to get the 1gb model but I just wasn't sure if gigabyte was decent in the world of graphic cards. Also, there aren't alot of companies offering the 1gb model.
B-Rock: I know the chip is made by NVidia but several companies then put their own twist on the cards. overclocking, cooling systems, etc which makes the cards unique to them. Gigabyte, one of the companies offering the GTX 460, is mainly known as a motherboard manufacturer. So my question was basically to know if anyone has tested their graphic card products and if they are reliable.

www.newegg.ca uses Purolator for shipping, everything at that site is listed in Canadian dollars as per the website. I am not sure what makes you think it is based in the USA?
