Captain Tyranshield
-
Phillip Senshale enters the library with a small excerpt of his own notes on the infamous pirate lord Captain Tyranshield, which he explains is based on a conversation he and another investigator had with a drunken pirate in Immersea.
Captain Tyranshield is said to have abandoned his post in the Cormyran Aramada, and taken the criminal lifestyle of piracy. It's unclear how long before or after this that he found the Cutlass of the Wyldwater, but it's said that he who holds the sword holds control over the Wyldwater itself. Apparently he retrieved it from "The Blue Dragon Itself," though whether that is actually a blue dragon or merely a title for another pirate, is uncertain at this juncture. There's more, but I just remembered someone's paying for the other information, so I better keep it out of the library for now.
After leaving this tidbit of information in the Library's files, as they seem to have no other reference to the notorious pirate lord, he proceeds to ask if the librarians have access any old Cormyran records, as he imagines a captain abandoning his post in the Cormyran Armada probably went noticed, and he's wondering if he had another name back then, or what his service record was like.
