My personal preferred method, wake up and make no mention of any Valentines crap having dissed the holiday for days before.. Then make a large and most embarrassing gesture at her workplace, sure to go down well! B-)

Brought $100 of highend chocolates to Vet's office, as one of our dogs has been in chemo for last 3 months and theyve been amazing with support at all hours.

I won the rock-paper-scissors, so she had to choose a surprise restaurant. Me find out later. -
Been engaged for 5 years today. Dinner in the making, and probably will spend the rest of the evening watching Walking Dead <3 Got a few episodes to catch up.

My Hearts-and-Flowers day gift: Hubby finally said I can get a puppy!!! going to the shelter this weekend to get one. So excited!

I set up a picnic in my backyard and got dinner makings prepared, spaghetti, stuffed mushrooms, and her favorite wine. Lit candles in the bedroom, put rose petals on the bed, brought her flowers at her new job, went back home to start cooking while she switched out of work clothes at her house. While cooking I reached down for a strainer on the bottom cabinet, and straightened up fast cracking the top of my head on the upper cabinet I left ajar. Lost some blood and may have passed out for a minute. Spent the day in the emergency room getting stitches. I think my roomates ate all my food too.

Damn globalization. My gf's been watching all those silly Hollywood movies again and demanded we make a supper with wine, chocolate and candles. And she's not even a catholic! :evil:

Bleeding out and getting stitches makes you more manly. Probably saved you from the bomb that is V-Day.
