The Hunger Games Campaign - Beta
-
So with the release of the Hunger Games movie, I decided to post again to try and drum up interest for the campaign module that I made in that setting.
1. Starting at 5 with no advanced at this time(This is to prevent the high advantages the caster classes have)
2. Fatigue/Sleep/Hunger System Implemented
3. Permanent Death(one possible suprise in the game to counter that)
4. PVP and a lot of it
5. Min maxing any characters is not allowed
6. DM run Sponsor System based on certain aspects of your character.
7. District BonusesI am looking for 12-24 players for this. Even if you have not read the books/watched the movie, it will still be fun.
-
Im in. Lemme get a schedule of when I'm available
-
I'd be in for this.
Though I've no idea what minmaxing is.
And I've never read the books or seen the movie. -
That is fine if you have not read the books/seen the movie. Minmaxing is just a term I a adopted from all the times of being in CoA.
-
Deal me in, sounds like fun.

Oh my post is gone…
I'm free during the week, typically anytime until work kicks back up in 2-3 weeks. Then I can actually tell you.
-
Heck, I'm in too. Whenever.

For those that are interested, here are the District Information - I adapted all of them to a more fantasy setting. They probably need more fleshing out but I think it is enough for a beta.
District 1
District 1 makes luxury goods for the Capitol. Children there take pride in competing in the Games, and are among the group of tributes nicknamed "Careers," who band together in the Games until they are forced to fight among themselves.
District Token: Discipline +5, Bonus Feat: Exotic Weapon ProficiencyDistrict 2
District 2 is a small district set in a mountainous region not far from the Capitol itself. In the midst of District 2 is a central mountain known as "The Nut" which contains a underground fortress. Originally District 2 specialized only in mining and stone cutting but after the war it was also tasked with production of weapons and the training of Peacekeeper forces.
During the Dark Days, District 2 was the Capitol's staunchest ally and after that rebellion was over, it received preferential treatment from the Capitol. Its citizens are better fed and have better living conditions.
District Token: +3 Craft Weapon/Craft Armor +3. Bonus Feat: Weapon Focus (Hammer)District 3
District 3 specializes in magical items. Most of its inhabitants work in foundries and are very adept with creating magical items. Some people think of District 3 as weak, but their intelligence can give them an advantage. Its tributes tend to use this to their advantage.
District Token: +3 Lore, +3 Spellcraft, Bonus Feat: Craft WandDistrict 4
District 4 fishes for the Capitol, and is another wealthy and Career district by providing expensive seafood to Capitol Citizens.
District Token: +2 DEX, Weapon Focus (Trident), Weapon Focus (Spear)District 5
District 5's industry is making cosmetic items for the rich citizens of the Capitol.

District 7 specializes in lumber and paper.

District 8 specializes in textiles and is where Peacekeeper uniforms are made.
District Token: Disable Device +2, Open Lock +2, +2 Spot, +2 Search, Weapon Focus (Dagger)District 9
The industry for District 9 is smelting ore that is mined out from District 12.
District Token: +5 Reflex vs. Fire, +2 CONDistrict 10
District 10 specializes in livestock.
District Token: Animal Empathy +6, Ride +3District 11
District 11 specializes in agriculture. It is located somewhere in the south and is very large. The people are housed in small shacks and there is a harsh peace-keeping force. Common traits are dark skin and brown eyes.
District Token: Knowledge (Nature) +5, Bonus Feat: Weapon Focus (Scythe), Woodland StrideDistrict 12
District 12 mines iron for the Capitol. The district itself is split into two areas housing two distinct social classes. "The Seam" is a slum where those who work in the iron mines live, whereas the mercantile class lives in the town. Both classes are easy to distinguish physically: those from the Seam generally have dark hair, grey eyes and olive skin, and those from merchant families usually have blond hair and blue eyes.
District 12 is very poor, and starvation is a major issue for the citizens. Due the lack of food, the local Capitol authority, the Mayor and Peacekeepers, often bend the extremely strict Panem laws. The magical barrier surrounding the district and preventing access to the woods is often not up as it is sometimes too costly in magical resources to keep it up. Some residents often hunt for food for their families and for others by selling it in the local black market. The black market, located at an old warehouse named the Hob, was where many of the citizens make their money.
District Token: +3 Listen, +3 Search, +3 Heal, Sept Trap +3. Bonus Feat: Low-light vision, alertness, Weapon Focus (Longbow) -
If those that are interested would pm me their play times instead I can keep a tally.
