Server Population

nwn is indeed an old game at this point, but in all reality, you want good Dungeons and Dragons and adventure online, this is where to come.
I think as it is an old game, people are looking for stuff to keep it interesting.
Therefore, in reality you take a good look
there is significantly more players online when a DM is online even more when there are 2 DM's get the picture..
People want that hope that something beyond scripted quests and grinding will happen to their character..
You see an increase in DM's, events, overlooking faction plots and what not..
I guarantee you, you'll see people coming from less DM servers and playing here and it refilling.

I think this is all fairly obvious.
I still say all the other servers should shut down so Arabel is ALWAYS pop locked
-
I agree! I've always loved low level settings the best.
-
I logged a few hours ago and there were 37 players and three DMs myself not included. I thought "Arabel must be under siege", but it was not.

Disorder and threat of war always increases server population :).

Never thought of that

Or it could be the spate of character assassinations.
He attacked player characters in a cluster of victims within a short distance of each other. The first four victims Mary Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride and Catherine Eddowes were killed and found outdoors in the "Gilded District" area; then he changed his MO by killing and leaving the fifth victim Mary Kelly, indoors. By choosing to murder Kelly indoors, the killer demonstrated that he was an experienced night time cat burglar and stalker, as he attacked all his victims in the early morning hours when dawn was approaching.
It is still a mystery as to the identity of this "character assassin". His or her identity remains unknown. * queue dramatic music* http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7g9WjcGdxuM
