Selling to NPC Merchants
-
All right. Minor rants. I get frustrated when I see amazing items sold to NPCs that could have been great for another player.
1. Some of these items are unique/rare, and selling them to the Kests/Temon severely diminishes their chance of being used, which is a stab at the DM who took the time to make it.
2. You can almost always get more gold from PCs instead of NPCs. Prime example - I saw clothes at Glebur that had +1 AC along with minor immunities to fire and acid. The price? Over 3,000. The PC who sold it probably got 1,000 gold. A player would have easily paid 2,000. You do the math.
How do you feel about it?

Doubt Temon spends more than 500 gold buying things.

Tons of these posts already.
A DM must have forgotten to set the loot to stolen or plot, you arent supposed to be able to sell them. It's sort of an exploit to do so I think.

People can't usually sell items to merchants for a reason.
To sell to players.
If you don't want to carry it drop at the Guildhall, make a threat on the forums, buy a magic bag.
You won't receive more than 500gp anywhere and 500gp is like what… 1 or 2 quests.
