Cal blake
-
I didn't get too many screenies along the way, but there were a few turning points in Cal's life that i managed to record.
The ongoing story was related to the Cabal, whom he first met in the underdark.
Raslyn was responsible for Yasha's turning and it was a difficult time learning to trust her new self.
Hornwood met blake in the sewers, only one possible result from that encounter!
Uploaded with ImageShack.usHe was given a pleasant bit of cell time before a prisoner exchange was worked out.

Uploaded with ImageShack.usLong story short - Hornwood and Raslyn left and Blake was despondent at his failure to achieve his revenge. But Yasha had plans, but these were short lived, after having a break she died almost as soon as she returned to Arabel. Blake left forlornly waiting for her to return after having managed to move her coffin to safety.

So with his supply of vampire blood running out and no one willing to help him find a new supply by hunting down other vampires he was left with little choice but to go to the only place he could to ensure his supply would be ensured and the aging process that he so feared stopped.

SALUTE
I never comprehended the thought that a character of mine could have become the reason for another's existance. Looking at some of those screenshots I remember why I was hoping for a second chance to discuss life, the universe and everything with Cal - I put a lot of thought into what made Michard justify his own actions and Cal was one of the few who tried to drag it out into daylight and question how "human" any of it was, certainly the most determined to poke holes in it.
It was great to have such a character involved in Michard's story and vice versa, to have had the opportunity to participate in his. Even if at the end he got off a shot or two at the pair of us, Cal Blake was uniquely non-physical nemesis - someone who picked apart agendas and ideologies, who could be chained in a cell but be no weaker for it because his weapon of choice was now his mind and his tongue - and it was a riveting experience coming up against that.

Cal was never the same after Michards departure.

The last sheriff of our time :(
I met Cal only a handful of times. But I'm sad to see him go.
Especially enmeshed in the web of Vhoor.
