Dirty job of a King's dog
-
Looks like, after recent events, I can finally post this.
-
Ha, i've been telling folks quietly for a while that Cassiel had Gondegal killed and not so quietly for the last few days, it is awesome to see this ;).
-
Yes, killing Gondegal assured that the war against Cormyr ended and that a new civil war against Lhal didn't begin.
Cassiel was such a bad man, he probably saved 100,000 lives with this murder.
-
Who are these people? One would have to be really deep in the behind the scenes politics to understand what's going on anymore…
:?
-
It is actually a very old post from the end of the Goldfeather plot.
Gondegal was sick and probably dying from wounds he suffered fighting Cormyr, but there was still a risk he'd recover and try to wrest control of Arabel from Queen Lhal and continue an incredibly destructive war which had already achieved the objectives that the Sembites funding it wanted.
So. They fixed the problem.
-
Bastard had it coming
-
And now the bastard paid for his crimes in the end. Just like Gondegal.
-
Actually, I meant Gondegal was the bastard, Cassiel was just a smooth operator…besides, how can I hate a guy who ordered Gondegals death?
-
Epic scene. Purely epic.
-
Rabbit would be so disappointed in Thorn.
But yeah, Cassiel was the best man I knew, he ended the elven bath scenes. HE WAS A HERO, YOU MONSTERS.
-
Why didn't Cassiel cross the road?
Becouse he was dead
[laughter]
-
I gotta say a few different life choices and matthew would have been at Cassiel's side to the end. So much for that.
-
The funny thing is that the Seeker's House was going to be part of the east way kingdom until IC events changed that. Guess he should have tried to keep us happy. :-)
-
He bit the hands of those he hoped to feed? That's sort of a backward way of doing things >.> No wonder he's dead ^.^
-
That scene is utterly fantastic! Huge props to Morieth and Thorny for that, and for keeping it secret even ooc!
