Druids and Arabel
-
I have noticed quite a few things about this server that are just a little bothersome. There is no place specificly for druids to be raised, for one.
Second…If you hope to pay for a raise or resurrection, you need to always be carrying a stack of gold, which is counter-intuitive to how I feel a proper druid should be played. They're not supposed to be greedy, money grubbing Tymorans.
So if you hope to reach a high level and maintain it, you can metagame and carry large quantities of gold, or you can kiss maintaining any level above 5 goodbye and not carry any gold like me...
The only other solution I've found for maintaining levels as a druid is to just avoid questing at all cost after a certain point. The lag during the day is so bad that you're almost garranteed to die in some silly way involving lag-warping monsters.

There are shrines to nature gods outside the city.
3 of the furies are in zhentil keep, valkur and unberlee in immersea, malar outside arabel etc.
one of those will likely suit i would guess, chauntea's temple died, but that could be a goal for you anyway "to create a shrine to XXXXX god and imbue it with the attention called down to the site by the presence of the holy hand grenade of Antioch" and then go out and quest to find all the items that are needed to raise the profile of the god and clear a suitable site etc.
Would make for a fun time in the wilds to my mind.

Problem with the Furies is that they are evil, so i guess they would not res good aligned druids..

Work towards restoring the Druid grove Between east way and arabel IG!
-
If you are unwilling to carry gold as a druid, be prepared for some difficult times ahead. I hear that druids tend to accumulate alot of gold.
-
Druids are one of the strongest classes in arabel in NWN…peopel just undermind them bescause they have less flashy spells then Clerics.
-
Oh, we're working towards restoring the glade ^.^ It's been pretty fun so far with the RP. I've liked the Druid rp more than anything so far.
I wonder…Has there ever been a female High Druid before? I know there was Gurm, Jandar is the corrent one...And I don't know the name of the one before that. That was before my time.

There was years and years ago.

Eliphas was sorta a woman

nessa was the name

alternatively you can not die..
this is a guaranteed way to keep your levels in tact -
Theres nothing wrong with a druid having gold. Sure, you don't -need- gold, therefore you don't go seeking it out. However if you come across it and earned it during your quests/ect. Theres nothing wrong with holding on to it unless you've taken an oath not too.
Druids tend to accumlate more gold because resting is free + can heal themselves! Being at low level is hard, and druids tend to die more than other class's actually, because they are fairly weak in comparison till later levels, though you can manage, with or without questing in fact.
Nessa was High Druid before, but I apparantly got her killed for the most part.
Eliphas was sorta a woman
Go say that to his face ;o

He's dead, isn't he? He could dance on Eliphas' grave, couldn't he? Just a thought…
But thanks for the input everyone! -Some- of this is actually helpful to me! lol

Just shifting the problem. -
with the druids,
I would suggest as a group goal to druids in building a shrine in the glade or perhaps in a hidden location as a long term goal, after fulfilling some short term goals like hunting undead, attacking threats to the wilds and so forth. This new nature shrine could be a true neutral shrine and could be used for raises and perhaps have some interesting and characterful druid items for sale.

A druid shop would be awsome. I haven't found one yet, but I have heard where one might be….But that would be spoiler to tell you. :( Sorry
