Apep Cipactli. Druid of Sebek.

Got far too few screenshots to do the awesome ride justice, but thats because anything worth screenshotting was far far too intense to be able to take screenies.
Anyways.
The journey to Arabel. - Nematode actually ran me a little prelude quest to get to Arabel. Was awesome fun. Got attacked by elves and stuff. For no reason! (I didnt sacrifice one of them to Sebek at all….)
A lovely introduction to the Varlet Inquisition.
Beaten, bleeding to death, and left in the Hullack forest, at lvl one, with nothing…. all because I dared suggest I was ready to enter their organisation. Lovely people really. So, he set about making a name for himself, and 'infiltrating' a group, to use them for the good of the Varlet. Plotting with druids…
He came to actually be 'friends' with one of them though…. this made it hard for him to think of them as mere tools..
While he could still rally the people to help him and the druids prepare against the legion, he went undead hunting, to gather the components needed to attack their lands. This was later used to send a vast bloated diseased crocodile at the legion. (which I have no screens of)
Things were also needed from the Hullack forest, to complete the ritual to empower the crocodile. This led to inevitable battles with the Lycans, and various rituals trying to weaken them by defiling their shrine with Sebekian rituals.
He even enlisted the help of (a BADASS) Red hart or two to gather the final components to attack the legion.
Obviously, he'd need a crocodile large enough to empower for this attack!
GARGANTUAN!
His efforts did not go unnoticed…
He was brought closer into the 'Family'
His Attempts to recruit a certain Sorceror… ended... badly... This journal was all that was left of his potential recruit, in the end, as Apep was forced to defend himself against his attempts to murder him, on the word of an orcan warband.
After attacking and bringing down one of the leaders of the mages guild, he was forced to make amends in some way. A deal was struck.
In the end, the guild got what they wanted…. despite the treachery involved...
Despite his love for the beautiful Vanos Zempitch, he never quite forgave the guild for what they'd done to his gods sacred beast.
But he had other things to deal with, other enemies to attack…. this dryad was protecting a....resource... that would later be used in a certain sabotage... perhaps the one that it was rumoured he was involved in.... maybe another entirely. (the 'dryad' had actually become corrupted)
After his successes against more of the enemies, he was granted a higher position within the family, and now had his own 'children' to command.
He battled and defeated a really quite (in)famous legion captain, removing his head.
And couldn't quite believe the rumour that he still walked… so had to see for himself.
Elves began to hinder his efforts, and so he taught them a short and sharp lesson.
In the end, he got round to attacking the ones that dis-respected his religion the most, being granted great power from a mystery source!
For one last violent and bloody strike of revenge, which ultimately led to his demise.
MOUNTS WORK!
Was awesome. See ya next time.

Super character, one of my faves

Brilliant character, awesome thread!

My PC scouted ahead for the weather orb caravan, saw Apep standing in the middle of the road, and said to myself, "Wtf is his angle now?".
Great job, people probably wondered the same throughout Apep's lifespan.

Bravo man, Apep had a way of -always- being on the subject table whenever anything of import was being discussed in game.
I call that a win.
-
I see that your loot was quite gimped at the end. A shame.
Bravo, Bable. A phenomenal character with insane depth. You character reeked of intrigue. And swamp women.

You were a monk? I thought druid monks were an illegal build. Those boots say monk only….

Final events sometimes require some OOC rule bending LoC. I was a druid monk for the final fifteen minutes of the characters life.
-
I'm sorry to have missed his final hours. Cool character!
-
Apep's best days were when he was running around with my druid. Once I died, well, down hill from there.

Very well done! I loved plotting with Apep before I retired J, and thank Bable for teaching me a lot about this server OOCly. Absolutely awesome character.

Precisely the same here.
