The Gondsmen are coming!
-
A shipment of long-delayed Gondsmen has finally arrived! Why was it delayed? The constructs got spooked and scattered (naturally). Where could they possibly be hiding?
First contact: meeting the delayed caravan.
Reaching Happytown, where everyone is happy, and everyone is Timmy's friend!
Timmy. Don't touch his toys, or he'll tell on you!
Here are the Gondsmen, of course. Where else did you expect them to be?
Two more are statues in the Order of the Greedy Fist.
Their philosophy is:
A deep conversation about the nature of life ensues, as the Order cannot possess something that is alive. No slaves allowed!
More Gondsmen ended up serving as mounts in a goblin mechanocult. I had failed to realize that Goblin Engineers summon animatrons in combat…
The set-up:
Nothin' like a home-made Hellball.
No screenshots from the Druids of Rust and their sacrifice of Gondsmen though. Thank you to Camazotz for his inestimable help with this quest!
As a bonus, from a previous quest: Gelatinous Cube wrangling, Company of the Gear-style!
-
I see Tinker in there trying to leach XP and ruining the screenshot
-
Woo! Wrangling ice cubes! Where is my tea glass?
-
Awsome quests Man!
-
Those monsters killed Timmy! All he ever wanted to do was play with his toys!
-
I know, rite?
All he ever wanted was to be your friends… Forever! Or else!
-
i was surprised daddy didn't help us after we killed Timmy!
-
And this is how you fill CoG ranks via…. Screenshot Propaganda! How did I not think of this before when I was in CoG :(... That Gondsmen are coming quest took 6 months to take place.
-
It also took six DMs to do it. cough cough Honestly, we spend too much of our resources on the CoG.

'Cause we're worth it. :D
-
I ruined no screenshot Duck! I made that screenshot what it is, without my awesomeness it would not pack such a punch ;)
-
I honestly hadn't even noticed Tinker was in that screenshot. I guess as a DM we just get used to automatically filter out giant dragons, ancient golden kings, big boats, brain dogs and all sorts of hilariously flashy avatars that are invisible to the players.

I'll add a couple
Not sure what funnier the order or Quin's reaction.
Gondmen are all home Yip Yip!
After big Slime attack, Envoy Eastwick stance is great!
