Casual Concept
-
Does anyone have any suggestions for a casual concept? In particular I'd like to avoid getting involved in any politics directly.
I'm not very good with diabolic evil (Like Banites). I enjoy long walks on the beach and hugs.
Replies/PMs are both okay

Temple of scratched out "Bane" Lurue in New Kilgrave seeks a proper caretaker
Do you think you have what it takes?
**Requirements:
- Not squishy around the sight of blood
- Blessed with priestly powers by Black Hand
- Ruthless, cunning individual.
Please send all letters to Dreadguard Vulno Rul, New Kilgrave.**
But on a more serious note - I think there's some nymph out there that deals in some dancing and hugs.

Make a Tymoran priest.

The nearer you are towards evil, the safer you are. Plus you get free (poo) hugs.

A casual concept could be anything.
Greedy scamp, (who could simply want to get as much gold in thier pocket as possible)
Curious collector (similar, but with magical items, or gems, more so than gold)
Just a standard adventurer, who wants to go get stuff you can't get by being a commoner and sitting at home, selling ale, or washing clothes.
With something as simple as those, you can just go quest with people, and chat about making gold, or finding rare stuff.
I do this with random characters in between concepts.

A scholar-turned-treasure-hunter obsessed with all things Netherese!

A scholar-turned-treasure-hunter obsessed with all things Netherese!
That uses a whip and a light crossbow!

Honestly, it'd be refreshing to see a thoughtful friendly character about, considering the vapid legion of pretender tough guys - who dream about making out with themselves for being so "awesome" - running around.
A subtle good or neutral character with a few well-thought mannerisms and backstory points can go a long way to making a casual, but endearing character. I'm liking idea of the treasure hunter interested in something specific and not plot-heavy, but Netherese artifacts could quickly become caught up in politics.

I'm bubbling with concepts for applications, send me a PM sometime.

The trick to having a sucessful character on limited play time I've found is to only have one real goal for your character, and to make sure said goal is easily adaptable and makes sense for you continuously trying to reach it even as the server changes around you. Its not as if you can't get involved in server plots, you just have to get involved as a background character helping others figure out plots instead of taking the lead. Evil never works if you don't have the time, so sticking with goodly is generally key. One other thing, something I know you won't have any trouble with, make sure your character stands out for some reason or another. You want people to remember who your character is after all.

CoA really needs a mime.
-
A mime assassin.
-
A mime that kills or assassin that only kills mimes? Since she said no evil, I assume it is the later.
-
Thanks everyone, I've made a character now. It may or may not be a mime assassin (spoilers)
-
Didn't 12hatch play some gay mime assassin?
-
He wasn't a mime, but the rest of that sounds about right.

Seen clash of the titans? Make a copy of the two monster killers in there. There awsome and could be fun to play. :D And to think I didnt event try to recruit you into the warriors guild.
