Happiest Movie Ending
-
I've been in a great mood all day, and I got to thinking about happy endings in movies, and thought it'd make for a good topic. What do you think is the happiest movie ending ever?
Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars Episode IV come to mind. A Christmas Story.

I never really remember happy movie endings. They're just too.. droll. Don't get me thinking.
I can't even remember for sure if all those happy kid movies like Bambi had a happy ending.
After having looked it up, it indeed did! I'll add that to your list. :P
Edit: Thought of a good one! Mirrormask! A fun, awesome warped movie, which is not actually spoiled by the fact it has a happy ending. Who'da thought it was possible?
Mirrormask made me think of Labrynth, which I suppose had a happy ending, though I have never really seen it as that.

This isn't a movie, but the ending of Bubbles's story from the Wire television show is my favorite.

True Romance and Neverending Story by my estimation.

Princess Bride.

When Picard beat Kirk in that nerd poll on the CoA forums.

Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life.
Rudy, Rocky II, Independence Day. There's no end of films that end on a high note.

I feel like people in this thread are confusing "happiest movie ending" with "movies they are happy ended."
