…the following is a set of scribed books, scribed by Neil Bryant. They are labled "The Ethel'Drek Series". As well, notices are tacked outside the Library giving notice to those who wish to read up on it.
Book #1 - Etheldrek the Bleakchild:
@Etheldrek:
This appears to be the journal of Etheldrek himself.
"My training goes well, father's blood allows me to best even giants. The priestesses instruction on Aruil's tenets is also most enlightening."
"Auril has anointed me as Chosen. My blade's intensity is only increased by this, and thick ice adorning my armor provides shielding and more chillding to my foes."
"Asked Krelgrymm about my mother today, he was evasive, odd for him."
"Father has gone to punish a land called Cormyr, for freeing a traitor from my queen's grip, specifically a wizard."
"Father has hatched a cunning plan, he shall kidnap a virgin from the city of Arabel, and take her to his lair, where we shall engage in a deception of "time-travel" while opening the portal here. He shall bring me through, and I shall play the part of this virgin's hild from the future. We shall see how willing a ity is to fight one born of its blood."
"A transgression into the temple by dwarves, they almost found the portal nuisances."
"I spend more time on the iceberg, the odd runestones about here create a feel of non-detection, or so I'm told, rendering Cormyr's War Wizards unable to find me, even if they think to scry out the country."
"Elves asail the temple now, and even breached the portal. This affront will not be tolerated. Krelgrymm has dispatched his lieutenant and many of the wolven, riding the blizzards elmentals through a storm I've extended, to strike into Arabel itself."
The next writing is done in a shaky unstable hand.
"That halberd, glowing crystals, the memory is too much…the traitor, was my mother...Aruil stole my mother...I have been lied to my entire life."
The writing trails off here, and the book appears to have been thrown forcibly into an ice wall

Book #2 - Krelgrymm's Journal: (Related to Ethel'Drek)
@Krelgrymm's:
"The High Priestess has turned traitor, to the Sleep below the Glacier, a foolish option."
"At Ithyxeldrek's direction, I am teaching his son the ways of war. With both our blood and the dragon's mixed in, he shall be a formidable force."
"Almost slipped and mentioned the boy's mother, Ithyxeldrek was nearly angered. He believes knowledge of his parentage could affect the child's performance."
"Ithyxeldrek has left, the Bleakchild went through the gateway shortly as well. Many new giants from the mountains of Cormyr to train."
"An attack on the palace, fools attempting to free a prisoner. Etheldrek claims them from Cormyr, and believes a full assault shall come soon."
-
Book #2 - Frost Giant High Priestess' Journal: (Related to Ethel'Drek)
@Frost:
Most of this book is endless prayers to Auril, or details on the running of the Temple, with a few more intriguing notes.
"The High Priestess has been truly favored by Auril, and mated with Ithyxeldrek, the great white wyrm. The child born will no doubt grow up very strong."
"Can this be true, the high Priestess has betrayed the Ice Queen, the temple is in chaos. Auril has accursed her somewhere, and Ithyxeldrek now rules the iceberg, teaching the son."
"Ithxeldrek left, followed shortly after by the Bleakchild, the portal came to life a few days later, it seems we are to punish this Cormyr for the transgression of freeing the traitor priestess."
OOC: This was done with SFP's permission, and it was a personal effort to summarize the plot for some who were involved.
