My students need YOUR help!

As you guys may have learned from me in IRC, I'm taking 7 students to Washington, DC, this summer for National History Day competition. The total costs for the trip are around $6,000 (7 students, 2 chaperones). Our school has given us about $2k, and we're now fund-raising to get the rest of the money. Every dollar will be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.

This reminds me of what we did as school kids. We found a sponsor for ice cream, or go out and buy those huge commercial tubs. Put up in front of churches on sunday with permission from local pastors, and sell them for 3-5 dollars, cup or cone, stating that it is to help out with school trips. The biggest problem was finding someone willing to let us borrow those freezers for several months

I wished I could, but I have a donation budget monthly and already kicked out all the checks… mostly to my daughters school =( I'm sorry, but I hope you're able to get there!

RJ, if you'll share the word via your social media then maybe that will help us generate some funds. Even if everyone just donated $1-$5, it would make a big difference! :D There's always next month! We dont leave until June 10th!

so my co-sponsor for this DC trip has said that if the kids hit $1000 by Wednesday, he'll do a "hot sauce challenge"
we're at $750 now
