New quest suggestions

I was thinking of a low-level 'dumpster-diving' quest for old town, where there are 'treasure locations' with 'stuff' of uncertain value, and the pc's rush from area to area trying to find good stuff to grab, but with a time limit where if they take too long, npc's start spawning trying to attack them (but don't pursue, but hang around the 'treasure location' instead, ie going through stuff). There could be several sub-quests where some more innocuous non-hostile npc's are looking for certain items; if you get 'enough' food items, raw materials for repair, tools, etc, the npc's may trade knowledge, and item, or other favour (could be kind of unique things, like 'maps' of certain areas of coa, portal password, names of people that certain rare items can be bought from, directions to hidden locations, or perhaps 'waste materials', ie like from a butcher, that might be used in making sub-par leather or bone-working, etc. perhaps doing really well in some elements of the quest or helping certain npc's might garner an item which dissuades some old town gang members from attacking those pc's/parties /makes them non-hostile. items like rotten eggs as stink bombs, other items which might be waste but may have some use… rotted meat as fish or other animal bait... broken glass as caltrops or blinding device...
perhaps make sure some of these items are unsellable outside old town/ the quest area (as 'garbage')
maybe a special crafting area in this part of town that can craft scavenged materials into a quality normal craft item with a more difficult check requiring hirer ranks in the craft skill...just some thoughts.
