AKA Hostile everyone. it has been asked and answered in ask a DM, and so it must be as declared, no IC connotations.
I'd like to explain my reasoning behind commenting on the red glowy phenomenon when someone is hostile.
As a survival mechanism we are all of us in tune to subtle clues from other people. Body language is a powerfull part of communicating to others how we feel about any situation.
I have always Assumed that if someone is glowy red like that then they are exhibiting outward signs of anger, frustration, stress, and a willingness to kick the shyte out of your grandmothers shitzu just for barking. I have also assumed that untill someone talks to the hostiled person about how they are feeling and why– then the situation will not just resolve itself.A simple "Gosh Bob, you seem tense, can I help you with something" Is usually enough to break that tension and alow the other PC to unhostile or go batshit and start subduing everyone in reach :-)
But it is now ooc game mech and not IC actionable :-(

Zool corrected my post, read it again.

Yep, read it again. Basically, WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) so it is not metagaming to assume hostility from someone/thing that is hostile.

Read it after I posted this, thanks Guys :-)

Makes sense to me.
Intuition. Tone. Body language.

I don't respond to hostile ICly and always set .hostile all before heading into mass PvP.
