Are character Bios required?
-
is it required that you have something written on your character bio? I have seen people have nothing on there character bio but still I wanted to ask if this is okay.
-
No. In game people usually put things that are immediately apparent when you see them. However I just don't put much of anything to prevent meta-gaming.
-
How about a name? Is that required?
-
Yes, you must have a name.
-
Well for the name thing I have noticed that some people do not put names on there characters if I see this should I report it to a DM?
-
No, please, no.
-
So the DM's don't want these things reported ok. Thank you for answering my questions.

the right thing to put in your character bio is a short physical description and any quirks which are easilly recognizeable, say your character has a wooden peg for a leg and walks with a limp, or he always smells of fish (Dale!). and dont make it too ong, since people would get turned off from reading such a long thing anyway…2-3 lines is perfect i think.

lol, reason why I posted here is I wanted a updated think tank on it.. I for one am the worst when it comes to trying to describe something…so mine are short and sweet. maybe 2 lines tops.
