Alayen Anxiously Anticipates Research on the Nevali swords
-
_In possession of the blue, red, white Nevali swords, Alayen attempts to research them to prove or disprove Jasper's theories on their shared destiny, use, or simply to come up with a really cool name for them. His reading skills are a little rustic, and he's obviously nervous about being seen, but he seems actually happy to be spending time reading, a joy unmatched except when he is in the heat and battle and barbarian rage, laying about with two swords and reckless abandon.
((Barbarian, 12 intelligence, 5+ bonus in Lore (trained) if it matters. Wasn't sure if it was CoA that had the rule that stated Barbarians are illiterate by default))_
-
After another incident with the swords, Alayen narrows down his research to the Bedine language and mythos. He's willing to spend coin to make coin as it were at the Wild Goose with the Bedine mystic and her cohorts, both to learn more about the blades, and to pick up the Bedine tongue. Stilus Vinco agreed to help Alayen in his research in his spare time.
-
Vinco explains to the Bedine that one of the swords was found within the ruins beneath the sands and asks for anything that might prove useful.
-
Alayen continues his research into the Bedine tongue by writing of his trials and tribulations in a journal, and translating it to Bedine as he learns (assuming a dictionary of some sort is available).
