Finding it hard to find anyone to quest with at a low level
-
Yeah. Basically, it's difficult to find anyone to quest with. I've had so many recent instances where there has literally been nobody around willing to go do some low level quests. It's becoming quite depressing, if I'm honest.
Even worse is the fact that when I do enquire with one or several people, it seems to result in 'nah i'm busy catching sanders chkens' or 'Nah, can't be bothered'.
I know it seems like I'm a bit unlucky with which players are on at the time, but it's really starting to bum me out a bit.
Any advice?

I never tried to focus too much on low-level quests, rather try to interact with people and maybe go on the sendings to low/high level quests. From what I know, few are really interested to do the low-level quests a lot and sometimes yes that can be depressing. However, things change and some time you find the right people and do 5 quests in one day! I would recommend to you to try to RP with people, get some friends IC and from there you should be able to get some people to help you out in quests!

To be honest, for me it's hard to find people to quest with after i hit level 7. Everyone seems to be busy with plotting and questing usually happens in established groups. So i guess its not about level but about who your character's socializes with.
Just make friends with folks who play in your timezone.
Also, most people don't powerquest every day, so for me its a normal situation. -
Send a tell to em if you see me online. I have 3 characters I use to run lowbie quests with people

Finding people to quest with can be depressingly hard, or annoyingly easy (you get too many requests, etc). Its purely down to coincidence. Are people available in the level range? Are those people busy? Are they in mood for questing/exploring/hunting/etc? You never know until you try. Sometimes people feel adventurous and wants to try out a strange and dangerous quest, while other times they are annoyed at recent level-loss and wants to play it safe and sound with close well-known quests.
My advice would be to stay clear of the low-level quests once you pass lv 3 (and you can get to lv 3 on your own if you have to, unless you're a wizard). The bulk of players are usually lv 6-7, with a good bunch being 5 and 8 as well.
So once you reach lv 3 there are lots and lots of 2-6 and 3-7 quests you can do and send for. It increases your potential party size and your profits. It also raises your level a lot faster. I would try to pull of those quests rather than grind through all the lowbie quests just for the hell of it. They are not really that interesting after a year or five here and many have done them to death.Getting IC friends is still the most important factor to gain people at your quests after a while. If people know and respect your character they might go "Hey, this guy I know who is really cool is doing this job, so I'mma go help him out despite the fact that I'm doing something else now that I guess can wait."
If you're just mr. Nooby-two-shoes then nobody cares unless they really want to quest. -
It is easier to find people to quest with at 7 than before, in my experience over the last months.
-
Wear nooby armor. They will come to you.
-
Now, I find it harder at 7 than 3.
I'm sure in 2 months time it'll be the opposite, meh. -
According to our stats, there are more people <5 than above it.
Probably just unlucky with the TZs.

Don't play characters with low charisma. Seriously. This includes, but is not limitted to:
Elves that only speak in elven
Humans whose description mentions something about "hulking" or "brooding"
Dwarves that do nothing but burp and fart
Haflings with shrill voices that "tee hee" everywhere they go
Gnomes that say too many words at once
Half-Orcs… PeriodIt is quite possible if you have any of the above, other characters are avoiding you. On the plus side, you are probably doing good at roleplaying, so congrats!

I find that a lot of people trying lowbie quests don't make sendings, and just try waiting until they find someone… That doesn't help their cause.

these are the people I look for to powerquest in low level >.>

Don't sound like a noob when you make sendings.
Make sendings sound interesting as opposed to "lulz doing tasks around the city, come guildhallz"
Go hang around faction headquarters, introduce yourself, get known to high levels.

Duuuuude, I need people to quest with too. I have a level 4. We should get together and powerqu-
I mean ah, we should… totally run a few instances. Just to get our bearings.Yeah.
(But legit.)
