Anton Requiem Research. Birth and Death records…
-
ooc// the actual research request is in blue at the bottom. I did this because I know you don't have time to read everything posted. I know I've posted this request in "Anton Requiem Visits the library. Then I re-read the "read this first" section. My apologies for the misstep, and here is the request in research form.//
–- thoughts of Anton Requiem---I've spent a day here pouring over tomes of information on dragons. They all seem to contain the following salient points. Dragons are vain, they love treasure, they are dangerous, and rare. Interestingly we seem to know the kinds of places they like to build their dens. I will ask the librarian again if he has come across the birth and death records for anyone named Anton.
I will also ask that he widen the search, for surnames as well as first names. My birth parent, or parents, were not clear weather I am named for my maternal grandfather as a 2nd, or if I am named using the surname as my first. And more questions keep occurring to me. Why, if as the note says, they want to protect me from my heritage, did they leave me any clues at all? Maybe my parents did not agree completely on this? What is this scale from? Why the Black Tiger Clan? It seems to me that putting me someplace where I could be better educated would have served me better? Maybe that was the point! I certainly never would have been allowed to develop any talents towards the arcane in my adoptive family. They frowned on magic use, and singing. This bears some thought.--- Closes the "Draconomicon". Stands and stretches, and looks about for the librarianHello sir, I know I asked you earlier if you had any birth and death records for anyone with the first name Anton. I think I'd like to modify that, and ask you to find Anton as a surname, from 2 generations ago. He'd have had at least one daughter.

After a couple of days research, digging through stacks of records provided by the librarian. The thoughts of Anton Requiem follow.–----
Nothing seems to be here as far as birth or death records. So I may never know who or what my parents are. "it's not the road we've taken but the path we choose that shapes our future." My curiosity will not be appeased here, it seems. At least not about my family tree.
But the maps of the world show a mountain range due west of the city, about 50 miles away.
The range also wraps around to the north. I wonder how safe the road is for lone travelers..
And why do I care? what is the draw? I do love to read, and so far all I've read has increased my knowledge. May be the library has a book on the mountains, and reading of them will ease this longing."Sir, thanks for these, but sadly nothing is here that I can use. If this is all the records, then perhaps I could have any material on the Stormhorn mountains. Thank you.
ooc- I found the research already done on a related subject, if there is anything else I wait patiently. also edited– Ive always been directionaly challenged-- WEST- not east of the city
