Just so you know

We're looking at making some changes to the Bravo Fighter kit, as it looks to be kind of overpowered when compared to the other kits (or just about anything else, to be honest)
-
Can we make suggestions here? I think if the int bonus to AB didn't stack with the dex bonus, it should be enough.
If would still be a powerful kit, but it has flaws too, kinda high risk high reward.
-
Add INT to AB if higher than Dex. Remove Int bonus to damage. Should be fine.
typo removed -
Or just add INT to damage instead of STR. Remove bonus to AB.
-
Making it use the higher of int or dex is a very good suggestion, if it can be incorporated without too much work, if not just drop the int bonuse to AB entirely.
The int bonus to Damage are very easilly buffed, either dropping the int bonus mod to 1/2 mod, or removing str mod bonus if possible.
AC wise, I don't really know what's fair. I know I get hit, alot, in stance but possibly less than others.

I don't think this idea fits the bravo kit. If higher of dex and int would be used, we will see very smart bravos in full plates.

Just as easily as str bonus to damage. Maybe a bit less easily, because Foxs drop less often.

Bravo's can't use fullplate, and they're smart fighters.

Bravo gets damage from both int and bulls. Get both cast on you = double-buff.

Any combination that allows/encourages DEX but compensates with damage will be OP. The damage decrease is the only real trade-off for going DEX based. I'd say light armor only, as it is, but with INT as the only bonus.
Removing STR bonus to damage would be really clunky. It might also invalidate some spells that decrease damage of a target.

The bravo needs to buff Dexterity AND Intelligence. It results in lower than average fortitude and much lower Hitpoints.
Also, since the stance is not permanent, you get hit between stances when the AC drops.
After spending a good deal of time playing with this kit I can agree it is overpowered. My suggestion for making it viable without overnerfing is..
This keeps AC from Int form being extremely exploitable by reaching +7/8 from good rolls, mitigates the damage and still keeps the kit survivable and fun to play. I could go into all the math, but I don't think there is a need.

thank you for all your input on this guys, it does help a lot to hear this stuff, balancing is tough, and we really dont like to utterly destroy fun stuff we put in when nerfing it.
We'll be in touch.

Simply disallow weapon finesse when stance is active might take away the OP of it
-
Cap int ac bonus at +4. Add half of int modifier to damage IF it is higher than str. Remove int bonus from attack bonus.
Ta-DAH!
-
Were it up to me… I'd take away both the AB and AC bonus and just add Int mod to damage, even if strength is higher.
Finesse fighters have issues with damage output, not all the rest.
-
I disagree. The AC is the most important component, because it allows Finesse fighters to actually stay on the line.
Full Int Bonus: AC
Half Int Bonus: Damage -
AC will likely be capped at +4
