We raised him with the very much assumed escape in mind because it seemed like a cheap way to die. Hronk is the best.

RE: Out of Game / Leaving Thread
@Mr-Moloch he was captured, killed, drug into the cells, raised, then sent to the headsmans block where he escaped in fantastic style thanks to Mazain Grail. But when he was killed in downtown his pack fell off and I think the mob descended upon it like ravenous beasts.

RE: A few thoughts
As a new player I can attest to evil concepts being difficult to play, where there is almost an OOC hatred for evil. I have seen alot of people play "soft evil" (see House Bhaliir, Banite Cohort) but if your looking to go full on necromancer or some such you will most likely live a short and brutal life. Part of this is just the fact the server is based in Cormyr, which is overwhelmingly good. I would say the best way to help out team evil is when team good rolls into Old Town the NPCs come to the rescue.

RE: Use Magic Device
I guess what I'm trying to figure out is how much UMD is required per caster level for a wand. For instance with 10 UMD I know I can use a shield wand but not a lightning bolt or haste wand.

Use Magic Device
I can't find UMD in the mechanics changes and I was wondering how it functions in CoA as I don't see the UMD roll that I have on other servers when playing a rogue as it pertains to wands and scrolls.

RE: Taboo to RP less or Not RP During Quests?
I've quested with you Sanctuary and you do rp during quests. I always try to get in a couple lines whenever I click on the red thing and I'm in that stable stabbing period where I have a few seconds (such as the infamous [Karl Steel drop kicks an orc])

RE: The Thayan Arena
I like the combination idea. For instance when four of us Banites went into the Arena, I appreciated that we had to fight a dragon for the map, and the difficulty made it alot more fun. When I had to fight for the Fist of the Tyrant, Spiffy saw it was going down pretty easy and raised the AB (and gave it blindfight I think) and I appreciated that also. I dont think skilled mechanical players with strong builds mind the fights being dialed up on them, I don't however like the idea of a powerful item fight being lowered because the players build is not as strong or they are low level.
I suppose easiest way of putting it is, baseline level of difficulty for certain items, if a powerful player or group of players show up then crank up the difficulty sure, but dont ever lower it past the baseline because a PC isnt a strong melee/caster class, its the Thayan arena its suppose to be scary.
PS- I would be cool with the scary/difficulty factor for the arena getting "kicked up a notch". I.E less powerful respawns for victorious team casualties/losers (TPK) having to be raised by spectators/allies.
